This Payment & Refund Policy (the “Policy”) explains how payments are processed and refunds granted for purchases made via https://codexnova.uk (the “Site”) operated by LIVE STUDY PLAY LTD (“CodexNova”, “we”, “us”). The Policy forms part of our Terms & Conditions and applies to all Customers.

1. Accepted Payment Methods

We support the following PayIn rails for the purchase of Digital Assets:

Important: Crypto PayIns require ≥ 12 confirmations before the order is finalised.

2. Currencies & FX Handling

  • Prices are displayed in EUR, USD, GBP, AUD and CAD for convenience.
  • All PayIns are settled in EUR; your issuer or wallet provider may apply an FX margin.
  • For refunds, we repay the exact EUR amount received. Any currency fluctuation or conversion fee is borne by the Customer.

3. Taxes

  • Where required, CodexNova collects VAT/GST at checkout based on your billing address or IP geolocation.
  • The tax amount is itemised on the PDF invoice automatically issued after successful payment.

4. Order Confirmation & Digital Delivery

  1. Card & SEPA payments – the Digital Asset becomes available for Download immediately after the gateway confirms settlement.
  2. Crypto payments – Download unlocks once the transaction shows 12 confirmations on Etherscan.
  3. We email a VATcompliant invoice to your registered address and store a copy in your Account dashboard.

5. Statutory Right of Withdrawal

Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and Directive (EU) 2019/770, the 14day coolingoff period for digital content ends once you initiate the Download. By clicking “Pay Now” you request immediate supply and acknowledge loss of the statutory withdrawal right.

6. Our 14Day TechnicalDefect Guarantee

We nonetheless offer a 14day MoneyBack Guarantee if a Digital Asset is materially defective (e.g., corrupted file, missing layers) and we cannot remediate within a reasonable time. This commercial guarantee does not affect any statutory rights you may have.

Eligible Scenarios

  • Download link fails or archive is corrupted.
  • Key layers, fonts or dependencies are missing.
  • File does not open in the advertised software version.

Ineligible Scenarios

  • You changed your mind or purchased in error.
  • Your hardware / software cannot process the file type.
  • You request a refund after modifying or redistributing the Asset.
  • You are unable to download because of firewall or corporate network restrictions.
  • Any form of buyer’s remorse once the Asset has been successfully downloaded.

7. Refund Request Workflow

  1. Submit: Email info@codexnova.uk with subject “Refund Request” and include Order ID, Asset name, a short description of the defect and supporting evidence (screenshots, error logs).
  2. Ticket ID: We acknowledge within 24 business hours and assign a Ticket ID.
  3. Troubleshoot: Our support team may request additional information or propose a replacement file.
  4. Decision: If the defect is confirmed and cannot be resolved within 5 business days, we issue a refund.
  5. Completion:
    • Card / SEPA – funds credited to the original payment method within 2–10 business days (issuer dependent).
    • Crypto – refunded on the same business day in USDC less the applicable network gas fee.

8. ChargeBacks & Payment Disputes

  • We encourage Customers to follow the workflow above before initiating a card chargeback.
  • Unfounded or abusive disputes may result in Account suspension.
  • If a chargeback is filed, access to any Assets purchased in that transaction is revoked pending resolution.

9. Fraud & AML Screening

Payments are subject to automated fraud, sanctions and AML checks. Transactions flagged as highrisk may be held for manual review. We reserve the right to cancel orders or request additional KYC documentation where required by law or cardscheme rules.

10. Promotions, Coupons & Store Credit

  • Discount coupons cannot be combined unless explicitly stated.
  • Store credit (if offered) is nonwithdrawable, nontransferable and expires 12 months after issuance.
  • Refunds are always processed to the original payment method; store credit is not redeemable for cash.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

This Policy is governed by the laws of England & Wales. Consumers resident in the EU may also seek resolution via the EU ODR platform at https://ec.europa.eu/odr.
